After a frustrating week of runs last week, tonight's run has put me back into the right mindset for good training! I set out to do a comfy pace 8 miler, but it felt entirely too good to keep it slow....I cranked up the pace to 7:55(ish) and finished a hilly 8'er in 1:03:35. I'm stoked tonight with the standing 10 miler running date with my partner and the upcoming 20 mi long run this weekend! Woohoo!

Thank you for your comment. I'm training for the Sedona Marathon. I've heard it's a little harder because some of it's on a dirt trail, but I figured that I have plenty of time to train for that. We have a good 2 mile dirt trail by my house that I'm going to work on.

Hey. Welcome to the blog. Your name caught my eye because it's so close to mine. Your times in your training look like you should be able to break 1:45 on the 7th no problem. Good luck!
